Rick NowelsGone Gone Gone is one of the songs from the Ray Of Light album which was out of the final project. Amoss, Madonna's Ashram's webmaster, was the first to make it available in the internet, and we all could hear a little fragment of this song. Actually, we can enjoy the full demo, and hear the original production.
From all the demos we know from the unreleased material of Ray Of Light, Gone Gone Gone is considered to be the less prefered by the fans. Maybe this is because of the musical arrangement, with some Jazz style and an up tempo which doesn't fit really well.
We don't know the reason for not including it into the Ray Of Light album. And we won't know until Madonna speaks herself about it. In this song, it may be because of the song quality, quite lower than the other tracks of the same project.
The song is written by Rick Nowels (co-writer of The Power Of Goodbye, To Have And Not Hold and Little Star).
