 Revenge was one of the songs that were rejected to take part in the Ray Of Light album. Amoss, Madonna's Ashram's webmaster, was the first to air 2 little fragment of this song, which is available in full length in the internet now (with a great quality). Revenge is a great song, really good, which would have suit pefectly in the Ray Of Light album, even more than other that were included. Why Madonna decided not to include it? We won't know until Madonna herself say that. One of the rasons may be that Revenge has some lyrics Madonna thought wouldn't suit in her most spiritual album.The song is writen by Rick Nowels (co-writer of The power Of Goodbye, To Have But Not Hold and Little Star), an unknown Greg Fitzgerald (who has worked with another Madonna collaborator, Billy Steinberg), and Madonna herself. Amoss says in his web that Robert Miles (creator of the hit One & One) also took part in this song, but Bruce Baron (who has deeply researched about Madonna's forgotten songs) says that Robert Miles doesn't appear in the song's credits. | ||||
