This is one of the songs rescued by Stephen Bray. There is only one version, the one remastered by Bray in 1996 to be included in the "Pre-Madonna” album. Michael Bradford and Stephen Bray played keyboards, and Paul Pesco played the guitar. Stephen Bray wrote about this song: “There was nothing salvageable from the original tracks so I recreated the music to protect the innocent. Clearly a prototype for the sound and feel of “Into The Groove” and others. "Crimes Of Passion" has a closer sound to "The First Album" than the other songs that Madonna composed with Emmy. The song is about a love relationship, but a little bit dangerous, and must be kepy as a secret.
