Can't Stop is one of the four songs that Madonna wrote for the film Who's That Girl, inspired by the character of Nikki, which she plays in the movie. It is the only song from the movie that wasn't released as a Madonna single, because although it is not a bad song, the other three are much better than Can't Stop.
Can't Stop is written and produced by Madonna and Stephen Bray. This is very clear when we hear the song, because its sound reminds us to other Bray - Madonna collaborations, as Spotlight or even Causing A Commotion, from the same album release. We can dare to say that Can't Stop was at that moment some kind of preview for the forthcoming Express Yourself. The song has a great rhythm, but although it has a strong energy, it doesn't mean it is a dancefloor tune. Maybe another production could have made this song a more notable tune.
